Happy Camper Studios is the creation of a motley crew of indies located across the United States.
David Koontz – Designer, Programmer
David has been in the IT industry since 1997 and currently finds himself freelancing doing Unity work, teaching, and of course building great games at Happy Camper. He is active in his local IGDA chapter, speaking whenever there’s an open slot and serving on various committees. He currently plays any tower defense games and 2d platformers that come along while occasionally going back to play through a variety of classic games (most recently A Link To the Past).
Logan Barnett – Programmer
Logan is a programmer veteran, with scars from a host of project and industries that span the range of the application of man-machine interfaces. In his more mundane life he prototypes games and builds a lot of the infrastructure used by the games at Happy Camper.
Jesse West – 3D Artist
Jesse is our intrepid art ninja who bravely crafts a world for our games from pure thought-stuff. Any good look art should be attributed to Jesse while any bad looking art should be attributed to some stupid placeholder David put in last night while prototyping a new system.
Steve Koontz – Writer, Designer
Steve is a professional writer who has thus far been successful in dodging the ‘starving’ aspect of the business. His background includes writing for print publications as well as for film. He is currently nearing completion of his first novel. Steve’s gaming background includes a few healthy decades of role playing, including holding high level positions in the White Wolf LARP organization. He’s no slouch in the video gaming department having played every 2d platformer MMO known to man (and some we still don’t know about), as well as the more standard faire of shooter, RPG’s and action games.
